PRIMITIVO Vendemmia Tardiva - LIMITED ED.
Dalla tardiva raccolta delle uve, svolta rigorosamente a mano a fine settembre, nasce questo vino pieno, morbido ed elegantemente asciutto. Rosso intenso con riflessi violacei, con note evolute di frutta candita, confettura e spezie. Ideale con formaggi stagionati, carne alla griglia e pasticceria a base di mandorle. Ammaliante se servito più fresco.
Vinification:
After a late harvest which takes places in the last week of september, the bunches are hanged to dry for a period of four weeks in our cellar. After a soft press, maceration and fermentation take place in steel tanks for ten days. Final stage before is an aging of 6 months in French barrique.
Tasting notes
Colour: Bright, Deep red with purples hues.
Nose: Rich, complex with hints of candied fruits, sun-dried fruits, confiture and sweet spicy notes;
Taste: Full-body, warm and slightly sweet.
Food pairing: It pairs with cookies or almond cakes. Also indicated for aged cheeses abd grilled meat
Serving:
Best served at 16° – 18° C.
